How to Collect Your Results 2026

A Level and Level 3 Results – THURS 13TH AUGUST 2026

• We are inviting all A Level and Level 3 students to come in and collect your results in person on Thursday 13th August, between 8.30am and 1pm, at our Queens Drive campus.
• If you were studying at North Star, you’ll still need to come to our Queens Drive campus to collect your results in person. We encourage you to come in to collect your results as there will be advice/support for you if things didn’t go to plan (or were better than expected!), as well as our friendly University Centre and Apprenticeship teams who can talk you through the many local opportunities for next steps.
• An email with your results will also be sent out to your college email address between 8 -10am on Thursday, August 13th.
• You can view your results on ProPortal from 8am, see below for a guide on how to do this

Level 2 and GCSE Results – THURS 20TH AUGUST 2026

• If you are awaiting results for a Level 2 or GCSE course, you need can log on to ProPortal from 8am on Thursday, 20th August. If you have any issues with logging in, please contact ict.support@newcollege.ac.uk.

• If for any reason, you cannot access your results online
  • Email exams@newcollege.ac.uk
  • Please head to the campus where you study. If you study at North Star please go to the exams office in the Pegasus Building, Floor 3. If you study at Queens Drive, please go to BG21.

Appeals, Reviews and Grade Queries

If you are expecting a grade and do not have one, have a query about the result, or would like information on appeals and reviews, please email our Exams Team exams@newcollege.ac.uk and make sure to include your Date of Birth and Student Number.

Support On The Day

Drop in anytime between 8.30am – 1pm to our Queens Drive Campus.  No appointment necessary. Whatever your results, whether you did better than expected or just missed the grade(s) you needed, we’re here to support you. There are plenty of options to consider for your next steps, so don’t panic!  We’ll have advisers available on campus on both days to answer questions and provide any advice and support you need for the next stage of your journey.

Wellbeing and Mental Health Support

Results day and the days surrounding it can be a very stressful time, and you will likely be experiencing a whole range of emotions, no matter what your results are. Members of our Wellbeing Team will be available to talk to. We will also have the Wellbeing Hub for anyone who needs a moment to decompress and recharge. This is a quieter area, away from the main collection point and it has sensory seating, soothing lighting and fidgets.

Returning to New College Swindon in September

Our advisers will be on hand to provide advice and guidance if you think you need to return to college to re-sit exams or enrol on another Level 2 or 3 course.
