Get involved in college life and help improve the college experience for all. Being part of our Student Union and Student Voice is an excellent opportunity to get your voice heard, it looks great on your CV and university applications and you get to meet people outside of your course.
Our Studentsâ Union helps to make key College-wide decisions and leads College awareness campaigns. They also lobby local and national government (via the National Students Union, NUS) on important student rights issues. The team is made up of elected students and is led by a Student President and Vice President.
The Student Voice scheme allows us to hear your views so we can continuously improve your experience. There are several ways that you can be involved
Student Governors work with the Student President and our Exec team. They also sit on our Board of Governors, so your voice is heard by the most senior teams in the college.
We also have the Student Executive Task Forces where you can become part of the Student Council and specialise in a specific role at College. You can represent areas such as Environmental and Recycling, LGBTQ+, Inclusivity and many more. Become an advocate for something you believe in, make a positive impact and evidence leadership skills in your UCAS personal statement or CV.
