If you need some extra support during your time at New College Swindon University Centre we have dedicated teams to help. You will have a personal tutor who you will meet with you regularly to talk about your progress. They will also be able to help you with any worries you might have.
We have a dedicated University Centre Study Support Officer who can offer one to one or group support to all higher education students. You donât need to have a named learning difficulty to access study support; you might just need some additional or initial support until you gain confidence writing and studying at a higher level.
Our Careers Adviser is available to give you free and impartial advice, guidance and information about career prospects, work, training, further study and CVs. There are also lots of careers resources in the Learning Resource Centre and on the VLE.
To make our buildings and University Centre accessible we have reserved parking, ramped access to buildings and lifts to all areas in the main building and sports centre. For more information, please contact our Additional Learning Support team on 01793 732849 or email additionalsupport@newcollege.ac.uk.
If you need some support while learning we offer a free, confidential counselling service. Appointments can be arranged through the Student Services Assistants or by calling 01793 732 849.
All New College Swindon University Centre students automatically become members of the New College Student Union, and participation in their events or membership of the NC Exec is strongly encouraged.
