Twilight College Experience 2023
What is Twilight College Experience?
A chance to visit either our Queens Drive or North Star campus and take part in taster sessions to see what life here could be like. Sessions take place after school has ended, giving you plenty of time to get here.
Sessions for each campus will both be held on Monday 3rd July 2023. Please see below for timings and further information regarding which campus is the best fit for you.
Who is Twilight for?
Year 10 pupils attending schools with 6th forms or schools who are NOT taking part in Daytime College Experience (please check with your school if you are not sure). Year 11 pupils are also welcome.
Why attend?
As you get closer to Year 11 you will begin to think about what you might do at A Level/Level 3 - and where you might study. Whilst studying in the same familiar school environment may suit some students, others prefer the wider choice of courses, opportunities and greater independence that college can provide.
Studying at New College is a great bridge between school and university or your first job. We enrol a large number of students from schools with 6th forms in Swindon and the surrounding area. There will be other chances to visit New College at open events during Year 11 – but only Twilight College Experience will give you an idea of what teaching and learning will be like.
