Results Days 2022

THURSDAY 18 AUGUST - A Level, T-Level & Level 3 BTEC results
THURSDAY 25 AUGUST - GCSE and Level 2 BTEC results

How to collect your results

1. In person at Queens Drive campus from 8:30am - 1pm on the 18th and 25th August

We would love to celebrate your achievements, so while you are there, look out for our Marketing team who will be taking photos and quotes from students to share across our social media.

If you were studying at North Star, you still need to come to our Queen’s Drive campus if you want to collect your results in-person or get advice and help.

2. Online via ProPortal from 8.00am on the 18th and 25th August

For a step-by-step guide on how to access your results online, download our ProPortal Guide HERE. We recommend that you practise this routine before the results day to ensure you remember your user name and password. However, please note that the site will be offline on the 17th and 24th August.

If you have any issues with you username and/or password, call our IT Support team 01793 209562 or email

Please note: Result slips will not be posted out to students unless you arrange this directly with the Exams Team. Email, and make sure to include your full name and student number in the email.

Support on the day

Next Steps: Drop-in anytime between 8.30am - 1pm at our Queens Drive campus. No appointment necessary.

Whatever your results, whether you did better than expected or just missed the grade(s) you needed, we know that plans can change. There are plenty of options to consider for your next steps so don’t panic -we’ll have Course Advisers, Careers and HE teams available on campus on both days to answer questions and provide any advice and support you need for the next stage of your journey.

Appeals, re-marks and any exam queries

Your results slip will have details on the back on how to arrange for any post-results services such as remarks and clerical checks. Our exams team will also be on site to answer any questions.

Returning to New College in September

Our Advisers will be on hand to provide advice and guidance if you think you need to return to College to re-sit exams or enrol on another Level 2 or 3 course.

General careers and HE advice

If you need help regarding UCAS, university applications or the Clearing process, our Careers and HE Advisers will be available.

University-level courses at New College and the Swindon & Wiltshire Institute of Technology (IoT)

Whether you have already made a UCAS application or not, there is still time to secure a place on a university-level course at New College this September.
