New College is celebrating a further year of high satisfaction scores achieved in the 2022 National Student Survey. This survey gives higher education students the opportunity to give honest feedback on what it is like to study their course at their university or college.
Latest results have shown that New College Swindon have achieved an overall 85.25% satisfaction score; this is a slight increase on the 84.14% satisfaction score achieved in the 2021 survey. Yet again, this is approximately 9 percentage points above the national average of 76.29%.
The College and the new Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology offer HNC/Ds, foundation degrees, degrees and higher skills apprenticeships. Students benefit from smaller class sizes, more support, industry-standard training facilities and above all, more competitive fees and the opportunity to save money by staying in their home town.
Feedback from students who graduated from New College in the Class of 2022 backed up the achievement.
Tom Neal, who studied the Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering said:
“My tutor has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the two years. He has been engaging and helped to make the course enjoyable.”
Tigsti Gebrekristos studied the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care and said:
“I really enjoyed the knowledge that was shared by my lecturers. They were all very supportive and encouraging and I would advise anyone considering HE study to go for it!”
