The latest Top 50 Training Providers have been announced by ratemyapprenticeship.co.uk – and New College Swindon has climbed higher to Number 30 in the list.
Each table in this national list is based on the 1000s of reviews submitted to RateMyApprenticeship.co.uk by young people who have completed an apprenticeship in the last year. The employers and training providers that make the table have all been given a stamp of approval by real-life apprentices, making them a brilliant place to start a career.
In providing a review, apprentices have to answer ten questions about their role and the organisation, ranking the company out of ten for each question. All reviews are quality checked by the RateMyApprenticeship team and then plugged into the algorithm which creates the table. Most reviews for New College were given nine or ten stars.
Caron Edwards, Head of Apprenticeships said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to have moved into the Top 30 of this national table. It really is a testament to the high-quality provision that we offer. All of our staff – whether they are tutors, assessors or co-ordinators – work incredibly hard to ensure that our apprentices have a great experience as they start or develop their careers further. It’s great that the table is based on the feedback from the apprentices themselves.”
New College offers a wide range of apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 6, and in subjects which range across finance, motor vehicle, early years, customer services, cookery, computing and engineering. The recent opening of the new Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology has only enhanced the offer, with higher and degree-level apprenticeships available in STEM, creative, digital and health subjects.
