Team Leading/Management Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Team Leaders/Supervisors are front-line managers and can have the single largest impact on an organisation. A good (or bad) manager can significantly affect employee performance and satisfaction, productivity, efficiency, and turnover. Training capable staff for future leadership and management roles means that when more senior roles becomes available there are already suitable candidate ready for promotion. This also allows organisations to save time and money on advertising vacancies and the application/interview process.Example Job Roles:
Typical roles include: Supervisor, Team Leader, Project Officer, Shift Supervisor, Foreperson, and Shift Manager.A team leader/supervisor is a first line management role, with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals. Specific responsibilities will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same whatever the role.
Key responsibilities are likely to include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally.
Programme Requirements:
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 9 - 4 (A*- C) or be willing to undertake Functional Skills Level 2. We have to make sure that the Apprentice has the potential to achieve the different elements that make up the Apprenticeship qualification, and that they are working at the right level in their job. It may be a requirement to complete an initial assessment in English and Maths, and this may lead to taking some additional diagnostic assessments and skills exams.

12-18 months to complete, depending on the employer and apprentice needs.Apprenticeship Content:

What can an apprentice do next?
