No previous experience is required. Ability to use a sewing machine is useful but not essential. You must be numerate, able to read measurements and use a ruler.
Learn about some basic pattern cutting techniques. We will cover the diagrams required for instructions on a pattern and how to map out a pattern using your required measurements and style. You will be introduced to the terminology, and familiarise yourself with the use of equipment to complete a simple pattern. At the end of the day you will go home with a pattern you have made and ready for you to make your chosen item.
