Education and Childcare Early Years Educator T Level

Education and Childcare Early Years Educator T Level

T Levels are brand new two-year courses. They are developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to ensure that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work.

If you are interested in working with children from birth to 19 years (or 25 under SEND), then this is the T Level for you. It will allow you to develop the core knowledge, skills and experience required to pursue a career in education and early years.

Crucial to all T Level programmes is a work placement, which you will complete in a relevant business. This will enable you to apply the theory you learn into practice.

In the first year, you will develop a wide range of skills needed for the care and education of young children. Then in your second year, you will specialise in either Early Years Educator or Assistant Teaching. This is a practical course, with the majority of your learning taking place in our onsite nursery or IT suite – giving you the opportunity to practice the skills needed to work in this rewarding sector.

This course is assessed through exams and a practical employer-set project.
