Hair Professional Apprenticeship (Level 2)

The cost of an apprenticeship programme is funded by the employer and/or through government funding. Apprentices do not financially contribute towards the cost of their training.

Suitable for individuals wanting to train in the Hairdressing industry. Apprentices will work within a salon, towards a Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals. Topics covered at college include shampoo and conditioning, cutting and styling techniques, and client consultations.

Entry Requirements

Apprentices must be employed within a relevant job role to undertake the programme. Employers will set entry criteria for their apprenticeship vacancies. If you do not already hold a minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent you will be required to study functional skills in these areas as part of your apprenticeship.

Assessment/Exam Information

Apprentices will be required to undertake an End Point Assessment which will consist of a practical assessment and oral questioning.
