About the course
In this subject, you learn the theories and techniques that are ides to make decisions in business organisations. You will study across the functional areas of a business to include Finance, marketing and Operations Management.
Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above (including English and Maths), this does not need to include a Business related subject. An interest in current affairs is important.
Business studies is a very valuable qualification for any student aiming to continue studying at a further level, or for those thinking of a career in accounting, banking, finance, personnel, retail management or general administration. It combines well with most other subjects such as Maths, languages, Accounting and IT.
