Digital Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship
Whether a small start-up or large corporation, chances are the majority of your leads are coming in through digital channels including your website, social media, email marketing or straight from Google. Yet, a 2017 study by the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) reported that 3 in 4 UK businesses have still reported a digital skills shortage. In order to find a cost-effective solution, an increasing number of employers are turning to Digital Marketing Apprentices.
These apprenticeships can be used to recruit new employees or upskill existing ones. They develop the expert knowledge needed to plan and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Co-ordinator, Campaign Executive, Social Media Executive, Content Co-ordinator, Email Marketing Assistant, SEO Executive, Analytics Executive, Digital Marketing Technologist.The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work to marketing briefs and instructions. They will normally report to a Digital Marketing Manager, a Marketing Manager or an IT Manager.
Programme Requirements
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English , as well as a GCSE/ BTEC IT qualification at grade 9 - 4 (A*- C) or be willing to undertake Functional Skills Level 2. We have to make sure that the Apprentice has the potential to achieve the different elements that make up the Apprenticeship qualification, and that they are working at the right level in their job role. It is a requirement to complete an initial assessment in English and Maths, and this may lead to taking some additional diagnostic assessments.Typical Duration

What can an Apprentice do next?
This apprenticeship is recognised for entry on to the Register of IT Technicians and those completing their apprenticeships are eligible to apply for registration.Completion of the apprenticeship would also allow access to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of BCS.
