Civil Engineering Apprenticeship (Level 3)

The cost of an apprenticeship programme is funded by the employer and/or through government funding. Apprentices do not financially contribute towards the cost of their training.

For individuals wanting to train and qualify as a Civil Engineering Technician. Providing technical support to engineers and other construction professionals in the design, development, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of the built environment and infrastructure. Learning key skills, knowledge and behaviours around Design, Analysis, project delivery and site engineering.

Entry Requirements

Apprentices must be employed within a relevant job role to undertake the programme. Employers will set entry criteria for their apprenticeship vacancies. If you do not already hold a minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent you will be required to study functional skills in these areas as part of your apprenticeship.

Assessment/Exam Information

Apprentices will be required to undertake an End Point Assessment which will consist of a project, a written report, a presentation and structured interview.

Progression on to Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships or HNC/HND.
