About the course
This qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need.
The certificate will suit students who want to learn the basics of electro-technical principles and practice. It allows students to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electro-technology sector. This is a qualification that tests both practical and knowledge-based skills.
The qualification covers topics which include:
Health and safety in building services engineering
Principles of electrical science
Electrical installations technology
Installation of wiring systems technology.
Where next?
Upon successful completion of the L2 course, progression is onto the L3 course
