Chef de Partie Apprenticeship - equivalent to level 3

The cost of an apprenticeship programme is funded by the employer and/or through government funding. Apprentices do not financially contribute towards the cost of their training.

For individuals wanting to enhance their culinary skills and build upon their current professional cookery experience. Having the ability to work independently and lead a team in a busy and challenging kitchen environment. Producing food in high volumes and will learn highly methodical organisation skills.

Entry Requirements

Apprentices must be employed within a relevant job role to undertake the programme. Employers will set entry criteria for their apprenticeship vacancies. If you do not already hold a minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent you will be required to study functional skills in these areas as part of your apprenticeship.

Assessment/Exam Information

Apprentices will be required to undertake an End Point Assessment which will consist of an on demand test, practical observation, culinary challenge observation and a professional discussion.

What can I do next?

Progression on to a higher level job role within the workplace or a higher degree level apprenticeship or qualification.
