Wound Care and ANTT

This course can be adapted to meet the needs of employers and the scope of practice of their staff.

The course will cover Skin Integrity, Assessment of Skin and then explore the different types of wounds. We will explore the stages of wound healing and apply to practice. We will also discuss the skill on ANTT.

We can adapt the course to explore more advanced dressings such as bandaging and dressing selection if needed and appropriate to the staff team.

Entry requirements

To be a registered Healthcare Professional or be in a role that you will be undertaking this clinical skill.

Future career and study opportunities

This qualification can be a refresher or stand alone clinical skill or part of a range of skills being undertaken. You can enrol on several clinical skills courses, Part Time courses or Full time courses such as the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or BSc Professional Development in Health and Social Care.
