Verification of Death Training

This 1-day course will explore the legal and practical aspects of verification of death. Therefore, only registered practitioners who require this skill can be trained.

The course will explore the procedure of verification of death and assess you with our advanced manikins to ensure competence in demonstrating the procedure.

The learners may then need to return to practice and be signed off by a competent practitioner as per employer requirements. We can provide a competency framework if needed.

Entry requirements

To be a registered Healthcare Professional in a role that you will be undertaking this clinical skill.

Future career and study opportunities

This qualification can be a refresher or standalone clinical skill or part of a range of skills being undertaken. You can enrol on several clinical skills courses, Part Time courses or Full-time courses such as the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or BSc Professional Development in Health and Social Care.
