Supported Internships - Project Search

Supported Internships - Project Search

This supported internship programme is specifically for 18 to 24-year-olds who have an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) and want to obtain employment. It is led by DFN Project SEARCH, an organisation committed to transforming the lives of young people with learning disabilities and autism.

On this programme you will be supported by a Job Coach and Tutor, who will work with you to identify your strengths, interests and the type of work you would like to move into. An appropriate placement will then be found for you, with the aim of securing a paid position at the end of the course.

You will be based at Great Western Hospital for the whole week and we will embed Maths and English into the placement.
