This focused clinical training session equips nurses with the knowledge and hands-on skills to safely and confidently administer subcutaneous (sub-cut) injections. Covering best practice, technique, and patient care, the course ensures participants are prepared to deliver injections in a variety of healthcare settings.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Understand the anatomy and physiology relevant to subcutaneous injections

  • Identify appropriate injection sites and how to assess them

  • Learn correct preparation, dosage, and administration techniques

  • Explore common medications given subcutaneously (e.g. insulin, anticoagulants)

  • Understand infection control, sharps safety, and documentation requirements
