Essential: 4 or more GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English
Desirable: Science based subjects, GCSE PE or L2 vocational sports courses
Advisable: Current participation in sport and fitness.
You could progress to L3 Sport and Physical Activity or alternative L3 courses, including A levels at New College Swindon. The apprenticeship route is also possible, if a placement with an employer can be secured.
You will be required to complete 35 hours of work experience during the year. The Employability team and Careers staff can offer guidance and advice throughout. A block week is assigned to this part of your study programme, although further hours can be completed outside this time.
