Sepsis Awareness

This half day course explores the issues and signs of Sepsis. We will explore early signs of sepsis and how as care staff we can be proactive in the prevention of sepsis but also how to react and manage a suspected sepsis case.

This course can be combined with our Deteriorating Patient course if required.

Entry requirements

To be a registered Healthcare Professional or be in a role that you will be undertaking this clinical skill.

Future career and study opportunities

This qualification can be a refresher or standalone clinical skill or part of a range of skills being undertaken. You can enrol on several clinical skills courses, Part Time courses or Full-time courses such as the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or BSc Professional Development in Health and Social Care.
