You will need four GCSEs at grade 3/D or above, including English Language and Maths OR successful completion of Level 1 (at Merit) and grade 3/D in GCSE Maths and English Language.
Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services. From here, you will have qualifications needed to for a wide range of public sector employment, including a police apprenticeship and roles within the Armed Forces, NHS and Fire Service.
This course does not contain a specific work experience component but many of the skills you will learn are essential to employability. If needed, our Employability Team can help you find local work placements that will support the course.
You will need to provide your own stationery, together with outdoor footwear for walks and trips and a gym kit. Financial assistance is available if needed, please speak to our enrolment team.
