This is a beginner's introductory course, but more experienced learners are welcome to use as a refresher.
Please bring the following resources. Your tutor will advise you about other requirements as the course progresses.
1” masking tape
A set of watercolour or Acrylic paints.
A large Board – A2 size (MDF or Ply 6mm thick is fine)
1 colour photograph that you would like to produce as a painting.
A3 watercolour or acrylic pad at least 140lb (300g/m2) depending on your paints.
If using acrylic paints best would be Daler Rowney System 3 Acrylics. Please be aware that some of the cheaper paint sets do not contain the primary colours that you will need
Paint Brushes: - Water colour brushes- small rigger.
Medium round and flat. Large flat.
Paint mixing Pallet
Container for water, for paints.
Pencils – 4H, HB, 2B & Ruler.
