● a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Applied Sciences or a related subject
● Min 2 A Level’s preferably in science related subjects
● an Access to Higher Education Diploma from an approved further education
Institution in a relevant subject
● an international equivalent to the above qualifications will be considered
The Level 5 Higher National Diploma allows students to specialise by committing to specific career paths and progression routes to degree-level study. On successful completion of the Level 5 Higher National Diploma, students can develop their careers in the sector through:
entering employment
continuing existing employment
linking with the appropriate professional body
committing to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Progressing to a ‘top-up’ year to gain a full degree
