To undertake this course, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Specialist occupational competence to a minimum of level 3 or above (A level)
Ideally you should be a qualified assessor in order to undertake this qualification
Literacy, numeracy and ICT at level 2 or equivalent is recommended.
You will need to complete a C&G skills scan as part of the induction process.
Please note enrolment is subject to an informal interview.
You must be working with a minimum of two students (assessors) who are on approved qualifications. In addition, you will need to be in a position to create sampling plans and quality assure your assessor’s work over a period of time. You will need to be able to follow the organisation’s quality assurance processes and have someone to countersign your quality assurance decisions.
The fee for this course is £900.
Students aged 19+ will usually be charged a tuition fee, unless they meet certain eligibility criteria for fee remission.
For those paying, an Advanced Learner Loan may be available.
