You will need four GCSEs at grade 3/D or successful completion of a relevant Level 1 at Merit grade. If you do not have maths or English at a grade 4 or above, you will be required to study these alongside your chosen study programme.
You will also need to complete a DBS check; you will need a birth certificate, passport and other methods of identification.
Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress onto a full T-Level route your chosen sector. From here you can move onto university or directly in employment.
You will need to carry out 100 hours in a local placement of your choice, which may be in a hospital, residential care or nursing home. This will support the development of your skills and knowledge, gained in a real working environment.
You will be expected to cover the travel costs to your work experience placements. You may also want to buy textbooks and will need to provide your own stationery.
