You will need five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English Language, Maths and Science.
This course can lead directly to a wide variety of jobs within the health sector, including roles such as a healthcare assistant, maternity care assistant or mental health therapy assistant. Alternatively, this T-Level will give you the opportunity to progress onto higher education to study for a degree in areas such as nursing, midwifery or paramedic science.
A key element of T-Levels is a 315-hour placement, which you will complete to achieve the qualification. Gaining this practical experience will help develop your employability skills and enhance your CV.
On this course, you will carry out your placement days over two full days a week and this will be assessed.
You will be expected to cover the travel costs to your placement and purchase a college uniform. You may also want to buy the T Level Health textbook, to support the course.
