French Beginners Year 1 Term 3 of 3
This course is designed to help you use French confidently in everyday situations. You’ll build practical vocabulary and grammar that will support you in understanding, speaking, reading and writing French at a basic level.
Throughout the year, you’ll explore a range of useful topics, including greetings and personal details, family and work life, leisure activities, eating out and shopping, numbers and time, travel, transport and the weather. You’ll also get a taste of contemporary life, culture and society in France and other French‑speaking countries.
The full course runs from September to June and is divided into three terms. You enrol and pay for each term separately, and you’re welcome to join at any point in the year if spaces are available. If you join part‑way through, you’ll receive all the presentations and resources from earlier in the course so you can catch up at your own pace.
To ensure new learners are enrolled onto the correct level, your course tutor will give you a call after you’ve enrolled.
If you’re unsure which level is right for you, we’re here to help.
