ESOL Part-Time Level 1

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is for people whose first language is not English and live permanently in the EEA with ‘home status’.

This course will help develop your skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. We offer groups at different levels and will support you with your English skills for everyday use.

We offer both daytime and evening classes to suit your work and personal commitments. Improving your English skills will help you to progress onto other courses and into employment.

Entry requirements

You will need to attend one of our enrolment sessions, during which you will have a language assessment. This will enable us to decide which level of course would be most suitable for you.

Once you successfully complete ESOL at Level 1 or Level 2, you may be able to move on to other courses within the college in a variety of subject areas.

You will not need any additional resources for this course.
