2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, in Maths and English
A keen interest in electrical work
A willingness to follow health and safety procedures and work as part of a team.
You can progress to the Level 3 Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation, begin an electrical apprenticeship, or seek employment as an electrical improver or mate while continuing your training.
Where possible, you will complete a work placement within the electrical industry to enhance your employability and help put your learning into practice. This may be arranged through the college or independently.
You will need to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety boots and overalls. A scientific calculator, textbook, and writing materials will also be required.
