The Creative Media Skills course will teach you the practical skills needed to progress into the three cornerstones of the media industry – in areas such as Film & TV, Games Design, and Animation. Although we focus on these specific areas, many of the skills you will learn in this course are transferrable to other areas of the Creative Industries, such as Art & Design. This course, equivalent to 2 GCSE’s, is designed to support students re-taking English & Maths GCSEs alongside Media as their main subject of interest.
This creative and holistic course will prepare you for the next steps in your journey towards a job in the Creative Industries by teaching you the basic fundamental skills and knowledge that will support progression onto a Level 3 course. This course is 100% internally assessed, with no exams, where you will generate a portfolio of evidence in response to practical projects, briefs, and skill-based workshops.
