You are required to hold a GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or Level 2 Functional Skills, in English. You must have completed the CPCAB Level 2 in Counselling Skills, with proof of certification and a reference from your tutor. Due to changes in Counselling courses over time, your Level 2 CPCAB qualification must have been achieved within the last 5 years. Please note that if you have achieved your Level 2 Counselling qualification by Distance Learning, we are unable to offer you a place on this Level 3 course.
You must be prepared to deal with sensitive and difficult issues when working in skills practice. Confidentiality on the course is vital.
You will need to supply your own stationery.
This 90-hour, Level 3 course will enable you to progress onto the Level 4 Counselling Diploma and into a career in this rewarding sector.
Please note, there is no Government funding available for this course. You can pay in full or in 3 instalments, please contact Part Time Admissions for more advice.
