Grade 3/C or above in Maths and English qualifications required
A strong interest in plumbing and/or electrical work
A willingness to work practically and as part of a team.
You can progress onto a Level 1 qualification in either Plumbing or Electrical Installation. This course can also lead to an apprenticeship in building services or related trades, offering a pathway to become a qualified tradesperson.
You will be encouraged to undertake work experience where possible, either through structured college-arranged placements or through external opportunities with local employers in the building services trades.
You will need to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety boots and overalls. A basic toolkit and a course workbook may also be required, which will be outlined during induction.
