This apprenticeship is for people who want to train and qualify as a Civil Engineering Technician. This role involves providing technical support to engineers and other construction professionals in a number of areas including: design, development, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of the built environment and infrastructure.
You will learn key skills, knowledge and behaviours around design, analysis, project delivery and site engineering.

Employers offer apprenticeship vacancies and will set the entry requirements, which will vary according to the role. If you do not already hold a minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent) you will need to pass diagnostic assessments to prove that you can achieve these grades and achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

You will be able to progress onto a higher level degree apprenticeship or a HNC/HND and develop your career in this industry.
