This practical, interactive session equips care staff with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to behaviours that challenge in a compassionate and professional way. Grounded in real-world scenarios and best practice, the course helps staff understand the reasons behind challenging behaviours and how to manage them safely and respectfully.

Understand what is meant by “behaviours that challenge” and why they occur
Explore common triggers and how to reduce the likelihood of escalation
