To undertake this course, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Specialist occupational competence to a minimum of level 3 or above (A level)
Literacy, numeracy and ICT at Level 2 or equivalent is recommended
You will need to complete a C&G skills scan as part of the induction process
A successful interview
You must also be working with a minimum of two students who are on approved qualifications in the workplace and a minimum of 2 students who are on an approved qualification in the classroom (or simulated environment). You will need to be able to follow the organisation’s quality assurance processes and have someone to countersign your assessment decisions.
There are several books recommended as part of the course which may be available via the college library oy you may need to purchase yourself.
The fee for this course is £650.
Students aged 19+ will usually be charged a tuition fee, unless they meet certain eligibility criteria for fee remission.
For those paying, an Advanced Learner Loan may be available.
