Adult Ballet

Adult Ballet

This course is designed for the complete beginner or those who have limited knowledge of ballet. No previous dance experience is required. Ballet helps build core strength, lengthen, and strengthen muscles whilst improving posture, balance, flexibility, and overall body alignment. You will receive training and an understanding of ballet technique including basic positions, arm lines and exercises as an introduction to the art of ballet as a pleasurable, versatile type of exercise.

Entry requirements

All abilities welcome. You will be required to complete a Physical Activity Checklist before starting exercise.

Additional resources/costs

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in and ballet shoes, if possible but not essential.

Future career and study opportunities

The course runs each term so you can continue and build your skills and increase fitness.
