The Salon

The Salon is a fully functioning commercial hair and beauty salon based at our North Star campus. It is also one of our state-of-the-art training facilities for future hair and beauty professionals. The Salon is proud to be a VTCT approved centre, offering products to complement your hair, beauty and make-up services from the following premium brands: Elemis, Olaplex, and Matrix.

Our students perform a huge range of high quality hair and beauty treatments on clients and are monitored and supervised by highly trained staff, with extensive experience and industry backgrounds.

Our modern and well equipped salon offers a range of treatments including manicures, facials, makeup, hairdressing and styling, massages, laser and IPL, and much more.

The Academy

The Academy is primarily a high quality training facility for our Hair and Beauty students, however due to popular demand and a fast growing client base, commercial services from The Salon may be located in The Academy.

Hair

Monday 10:15am - 3:30pm (Level 2)

Tuesday 11:45am - 9pm (Level 3)

Wednesday 9:45am - 3pm (Level 3) / 5:45pm - 9pm (Level 3)

Thursday 9am - 1pm (Level 2) / 10:30am - 1pm (Level 1)

4:15pm - 7:30pm (Level 2) *no colouring

Beauty

Monday 2pm - 5pm (Level 4)

Tuesday 11am - 1pm (Level 4) / 4pm - 8pm (Level 4)

Tuesday 4:15pm - 8pm (Level 2)

Wednesday 10am - 8pm (Level 4)

Wednesday 5:15pm - 9pm (Level 2)

Thursday 5:15pm - 7:30pm (Level 3) Massage

Friday 9:15am - 12pm (Level 1)

Important Info

The Salon and The Academy operate on a commercial basis. All treatments and services are carried out by trainee students enrolled on Hair and Beauty courses at New College monitored and supervised by highly qualified staff. Please note that our listed offer is available subject to the delivered curriculum. All our clients are important to us and we value their custom, however we ask they keep in mind that students are training and may take longer than anticipated. We regret that we are unable to offer appointments to under 16’s.

*Many of the treatments and services require clients to have a skin/patch test 24/48 hours prior to their appointment. This information will be confirmed at the time of booking.
