Basketball Academy

Through our extensive court and play time, the basketball academy enables students to gain the skills needed to progress in the sport. We have teams that compete in the Association of Colleges (which features some of the best players in the country) and the West Midlands League and Dynamik Cup.

As part of the basketball academy, you will:

Take part in six hours of training a week, three times a week
Possibly compete in the Basketball England National Basketball League (NBL) alongside playing at college
Take part in strength and conditioning, video analysis and nutrition sessions.

Costs

You will need to pay £208 for your training, travel and the kit.

State-Of-The-Art Facilities

The sports hall, with its recently refurbished sprung floor, can be hired for a multitude of sports including basketball, 5-a-side football, badminton, volleyball, short tennis and netball. It can be hired by sports groups, community organisations or individuals wanting to use the space.

We have prices for the whole hall, half hall and individual courts. Ask about discounts for block bookings.

The sports hall is available for hire at times from Mon to Fri 5pm – 10pm, Sat & Sun 9am – 1pm.
