National Apprenticeships Week 2023
It's National Apprenticeship Week and we're kicking it off with the Apprenticeship Fair!
Whether you are hoping to hire or be hired as an apprentice, New College Swindon wants to make the process as easy and accessible as possible so you can focus on what matters most and enjoy the full benefits of an apprenticeship.
In support of National Apprenticeship Week 6th-12th February 2023, we will be hosting the Apprenticeship Fair on Tuesday 7th February from 4pm-6pm. The event will showcase all of our training programmes from carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying all the way through to childcare, business, and digital skills and includes our exciting new higher level IoT apprenticeship programmes.
The new Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology (IoT) offers apprenticeships in engineering, IT, digital skills, science & health, creative & media and business management. Apprentices studying with the IoT will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and high quality apprenticeship training.
Our programmes start from level 2 (equivalent to a GCSE) and go up to level 7 (degree) - meaning anyone can become an apprentice, whether you are coming straight from education and looking to kick-start a new career, or you are already in a job and looking to improve your career prospects.
This broad offer also provides employers with an ideal solution for addressing skills gaps within your workforce - either by bringing new talent into your organisation or developing and upskilling existing staff.
