National Skills Fund/Skills for Life

The Government’s National Skills Fund offers you the opportunity to train and gain valuable skills to improve your job prospects – for FREE!

Any adult who meets the below criteria who wants to achieve their first full Level 3 qualification (equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma or 2 full A levels) is able to access a selection of fully-funded courses.

Eligibility criteria

• Aged 19+ and do not already have a level 3 qualification
• Already have a level 3 qualification (or higher), but earn below the national living wage annually (£20,319 from April 2023)
• Already have a level 3 qualification or higher but are unemployed

When do I need to come to college?

Some of our courses are offered as part-time evening qualifications, whilst others are available as daytime infill (where adults join an existing class of young people). Courses start in September.
