Those who wish to take up daytime study this academic year may think they’ve missed the chance. However, New College Swindon is offering a set of innovative study packages starting this November.
The college is opening its doors up to students who perhaps aren’t happy with their current place of study or are on a programme that just isn’t suited to them. The November start packages are also ideal for those who may be new to the area. This is a unique opportunity to begin daytime study later in the year than usual, with a range of exciting subject areas on offer.
The packages on offer are Level 2 and 3 vocational programmes, teamed with GCSE qualifications and range from Business and Finance (Level 2) to Beauty – Massage Study Programme (Level 3).
Paul James, Director of Curriculum, Quality and CIS, said: “At New College we place significant value on every learner having the opportunity to access the right courses to ensure they reach their potential. There is a significant range of learning opportunities available through both FE Colleges and Sixth Forms across Swindon and whilst this is a positive from a choice perspective, the wide range can make decision making challenging.
In the context of this broad curriculum offer, we believe that students should have the option to reconsider their chosen route or venue of study. To help ensure students make the correct decisions we offer a suite of exciting programs, designed specifically to start in November, facilitating the chance the re-think or re-start.
These courses give applicants an opportunity to access the same high quality teaching and learning as students who enrolled in September. These programs are also designed specifically to support learners who may have changed their career objectives since the summer.”
