New College will be offering a range of GCSE revision sessions in Mathematics, English and Science during the February half-term and Easter vacations. Tutors are experienced in delivering GCSE study and tuition across a range of subjects. If students are thinking of applying to New College for their AS/A Level study, this also gives them an excellent opportunity to experience the high quality of our teaching.
Each subject will comprise four consecutive mornings of tuition covering topics and themes found in the specifications of the main examining boards. Focus will be given to those areas which students find difficult to understand and apply effectively. Sessions may also include a short practice test with 1-2-1 feedback. Students who enroll on the sessions will be sent a comprehensive questionnaire to complete and return well in advance. This will give us information on Examination Boards and enable us to focus on key areas selected by the students themselves.
Dates are as follows for all three subjects:-
- February: Monday 13th to Thursday 16th inclusive, 9.30am to 12.45pm
- Easter: Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th April, 9.30am to 12.45pm
(Mornings include a 15 minute break).
The cost of each subject is likely to be in the region of £200 (dependent on numbers). New College reserves the right to cancel classes in the case of insufficient demand, but an early decision will be made on this.
