Find the College
The College is well served by bus routes across Swindon and from the Bus Station.
Students should apply early to their relevant council (Swindon or Wiltshire) if they need an annual bus pass. In the Swindon area, many students prefer the flexibility of the discounted monthly Thamesdown Young Persons' Travel Pass or Travel Pass Plus which allows unlimited journeys for under 20s in the permitted areas.
Wiltshire County Council bus passes for some students may only provide journeys to Swindon Town Centre. Students may therefore have to pay for the journey to and from New College. In this case, they should ask at Student Services for details of our Assisted Travel Scheme and bring their bus tickets into Student Services. We ask that they use the cheapest option which is likely to be the monthly travel pass. It is intended that students should not have to pay any more than the cost of an annual Wiltshire pass but this is subject to the availability of funds in College.
